Figure 3. Preliminary results from 18 Cox sand catchers distributed in three different areas of the blow sand site. These results are from a short sampling period May-November including the spring windy season in May-June 2003. Small amounts of sand were deposited in the three upwind sand catchers as well as in the two most easterly rows in the stable/vegetated area. Maximum amounts of sand were observed in the sandy fetch area.
